At least one person was killed and three people were seriously injured when a bridge collapsed above Interstate I-35 in Salado, Texas. At around 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015, a semi tractor trailer hit a beam of the FM 2484 overpass bridge over I-35. The impact caused several beams dislodge and fall onto vehicles traveling on the highway. A spokeswoman for the Texas Department of Transportation said that the truck or its load was too tall to drive underneath the bridge.
