What Notes Should I Take After an Accident?

The first thing you should do after a car or truck accident is make sure everyone is okay and seek any necessary medical attention. Then document the details. Smart phones are useful as digital cameras to capture images of the accident and its consequences. Take pictures from all angles of the vehicles involved, as well as of the scene.
You should also write down the things that happen. If you find yourself in court later down the road, notes will be very useful in jogging what can be a foggy memory. This is especially true because there are emotions and adrenaline accompanying an accident.
