Texas small plane crash kills mother

Personal planes and charter plane rental companies are becoming more popular in Texas. As the price of planes becomes more economical, travelers look for more convenient choices over large commercial flights. No matter what you fly, safety has to be the first consideration.

Texas police reported that a single-engine plane crashed one night near Dallas. Police said that a family of three was on board a four-seater Beechcraft. A spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Safety, said the family was flying from Arkansas to a local airfield. Officials said that the pilot attempted to make an emergency landing because of a mechanical failure. Due to strong winds, the plane crashed down just before making it to the runway.

Sadly, the wife died at the scene of the airplane accident, and the husband and child were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. Officials said that the pilot attempted to make an emergency landing because of a mechanical failure.

The safety of charter, private, or corporate airplane operations can vary greatly from one operation to another. Some charter companies have excellent safety records, while other private aircraft procedures leave much to be desired. Plane crashes can be attributed to several factors, including mechanical failure, design flaws, defective parts, lack of fuel, or a bad weather situation.

Faulty maintenance or manufacturing of a plane or aircraft can lead to catastrophic and fatal injury plane crashes. If investigators determine that a crash was due to perhaps some mechanical failure or other issue, several people or companies could be held liable.
