National Teen Safe Driver Week

A teen finds herself in need of Dallas accident lawyersAt the Turley Law Firm, our Dallas accident lawyers know firsthand that roadways can be a dangerous place for any motorist, but with so many teen deaths occurring due to preventable auto accidents, it’s important to give our youth extra attention and guidance when it comes to road safety.

Fortunately, from October 18th through October 24th, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will dedicate its efforts to raising awareness and seeking solutions for auto-related teen deaths and injuries by promoting National Teen Driver Safety Week.

This year’s theme, ‘Avoid the Regret – Avoid Impaired Driving’ takes a new approach to educating teens about safe driving. Rather than trying to scare youthful drivers into making good decisions, the campaign offers informational resources and guidelines to help young drivers make the right choices behind the wheel.

The campaign focuses on the risks associated with drunk driving accidents, and empowers teens to take responsibility for their actions while having an active role in positively influencing others.

The campaign also helps teens identify the cause of impaired driving as more than just driving drunk, but also:

  • Driving under the influence of drugs
  • Driving while distracted
  • Driving while tired
  • Driving while intensely emotional

Unfortunately, even teen drivers who are not impaired while driving can find themselves the victim of an auto accident. If you or your child has been injured in a car crash, no matter who may be at fault, our experienced Dallas accident lawyers can help you get the compensation you deserve. Call the Turley Law Firm at 214-691-4025 to schedule a free consultation today. We welcome clients from Fort Worth and throughout Texas and the nation.
