David A. Tijerina

David A. Tijerina grew up in San Antonio, Texas. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Texas at Austin and a law degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Tijerina was a member of the National Moot Court Team, SMU's Order of Barristers, and clerked for the Fifth District Court of Appeals.
After graduation he began his career with a local Dallas law firm where he represented corporations, insurance companies and municipalities. In 1999, Mr. Tijerina changed law firms to represent injured people. During his career he has tried cases to verdict, representing both plaintiffs and defendants Since 2001 he has served as an adjunct professor of law at the Texas Wesleyan University School of Law where he teaches Consumer Law.
He is licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas and United States District Court for The Northern District of Texas. Currently Mr. Tijerina focuses his practice on serious injury, death and consumer cases.
